Actually there isn't any small Apple notebook - Apple went for the fastest CPU - which resulted
in a big, heavy and 'almost melting' notebook; there is still only one touchpad button and the incomplete
Apple keyboard; and the price is not very bad at first, but since it is not changed for a long time
it is a total ripoff towards the end of the lifecycle. The only part that Apple got 'almost right' was
that you can install Windows on those notebooks ... but that took a long time ...
After more than 2 years, two out of my 6 Casio solar watches have battery problems - the original Pathfinder
is no longer usable and the second solar with similar problems might only have one year or so of extra life left
- of course that the fix will be to replace the rechargeable battery - very cheap actually, but I was hoping
for a little more 'recharge life' from those ...
The two automatics had no such problems - but after some time (probably around one year) the Orange Monster
has lost the initial precision that I placed into it and now while it still works reliably it is almost
1 minute/week fast :(
The solar titanium Citizen is probably the one least changed, maybe with the automatic Atlantic second, but I
only wear that 3-4 times each year now ...
Archos GMini XS200 is still my main MP3 player, but Archos have improved way too little on that
and are now mostly focusing on expensive and bigger video stuff and their future is totally
uncertain...
